TEO LT Self Service

ManoTeo.lt National Telecom Self Service Portal

Idea Code carried out user interface structural and graphic design for ManoTeo.lt telecom (fixed-line) self service system. While the choice of colors and aesthetic feel was dictated by the company’s corporate website style, this project focused on adapting corporate style to the needs and specifics of client self service. Strong emphasis was placed on creating informative self service tools to facilitate selection of value added services (e.g. electronic service selection guide).

Swedbank Internet Bank

Retail and Corporate Internet Bank

Together with the client and Scandinavian business partner team Idea Code carried out a pan-Baltic user research project for testing new Internet banking prototype in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia before its launch. Primary objective of business and private client usability testing was to optimize ease of navigation for the new Internet banking portal.

Aukok.lt

First Online Donations Portal in Lithuania

Idea Code worked together with Aukok.lt team and Webmedia for creating the first online donations portal in Lithuania. Idea Code team was responsible for designing the user interface and preparing it for technical implementation.

National Telecom

Idea Code conducted usability reviews for self-service and corporate portals of Lithuanian Telecom. Analysis of how self-service portal supports private user and business user goals resulted in a number of improvement suggestions for a more user centered self service process. Usability review of client’s corporate website and service-specific websites (voice telecommunications, interactive television) resulted in advice on future development strategy for corporate and service information presentation.

Mobile Telecommunications Company

Idea Code carried out a number of usability assignments including expert reviews and testing of self-service and corporate portal. Usability testing for self-service portal resulted in recommendations for navigation, content, layout and interaction improvements. Usability assignment for corporate portal covered user testing, card sorting exercise and expert reviews – all with the purpose of suggesting a new portal menu structure, service information presentation templates and other layout improvements. Additional usability review for mobile internet services enabled to suggest a new detailed menu structure, improvement of labeling semantics, rewritten service descriptions and simplified product information presentation.

Telia Sonera

Nordic Telecommunications Group

Idea Code carried out user interface translation and adaptation for Lithuanian language and local testing of mobile internet connection software prototype (Windows based application used on notebook computers for connection to mobile broadband service) for a Nordic telecommunications group. Findings of the assignment allowed to define potential user groups more clearly and to distinguish functionality appealing to each group, as well as to suggest detailed interface improvements for the software prototype.

Flight Ticket and Hotel Sales Portal

Idea Code worked with Greitai.lt travel portal during the whole portal’s redesign process and conducted two rounds of user tests. Resulting advice focused on improvements in flight ticket search and booking process as well as integration of hotel booking functionality into the previous portal version.

Online Shopping Portal

Idea Code carried out analysis of the existing portal advantages and shortcomings and designed new user interface, which meets strategic business decision to improve user shopping experience by only gradually modify portal’s appearance. User interface design was carried out by balancing usability needs with the need for improved visual esthetics. The new interface incorporates rearranged navigation and improved product information presentation. From the design perspective portal transitions to new visual style by keeping the main color scheme as the core of brand identity.

“We would like to refresh our image. It is important, that our products are ecological. We like our current logo, we are even not sure if we would like to change it. We used to stress telesales, international operations, but we would still like to keep European image, so the globe image might be too wide… Maybe you could suggest something completely new.” – said the client. As a result Idea Code team carried out a set of activities to create internet and “real-life” user experience centered on the most important environmental idea of EOS. Our work covered new logo design and several style versions of website design for www.eosprint.com. We also transferred internet style into material world by designing product packaging cases and product stickers, which reflect ecological approach of eosprint.com.

Sports Content Management Software Developer

Idea Code worked together with the software developer to design new user interface for a sports content management system aimed at game information administration. Based on the client’s description of envisaged functionality, Idea Code provided usability consulting and design services in creating navigation structure, user interaction models for complex functionality, user interface layouts and graphics style.

Irrigation Solutions Company

Idea Code was asked to design and implement a multi-language (English, Russian, Lithuanian) website for presentation of product specific information comfortably balanced with visually attractive design. We carried out information architecture analysis as a result of which navigation structure targeted at specific product user groups was created. We also designed website’s graphical interface and carried out its technical implementation.
